I made this set as a Hogswatch gift for The original plan was for them to have instruments...but then, the original plan was also for them to be recognizable.
I think what the past couple of years of Sculpey have taught me is that my work suffers when I have too many options for hairstyles and outfits, and it suffers even more when I want to be working on a different project. Nine didn't turn out very well because I wanted to be working on Eight and Rose; the third Ten and third Rose I made both suffered because I wanted to be working on the Duran ones; the Duran ones suffered because I want desperately to be working on Captain (not Cap'n) Jack and Jamie...which bodes ill for Martha and Mickey, who still stand between me and Jack.
Anyway, because you _really_ can't be expected to figure this out unless you've spent a sizeable amount of time staring at pictures from different eras in the band's history, from left to right we have Roger Taylor (drums), Nick Rhodes (keyboard), Simon LeBon (lead singer), John Taylor (bass), and Andy Taylor (guitar).
As for the title, was I referring to the reaction I expect to get from posting this? Did I settle on a lyric at random? Was I referring obliquely to something else Chaotica got for Hogswatch? To tell the truth, I'm not entirely sure myself.
With a question mark...hee. (I still want a question-marked sweater-vest. Why? Because my fashion sense is just that cool, that's why.)
It's a cool title, though, and it works. You'll be happy to know, by the way, that they arrived here in PERFECT condition! No pieces broken off at all! Looks like (a) you wrapped them up really good and (b) we were lucky on this one.
I think I like Roger's Rio-era blue and white suit and Nick's eyeliner best...
I'm afraid I can't help you with the sweater-vest...
And they really made it all that way without breaking? Wow. Colour me impressed. I was sure that, if the TARDIS didn't protect the ones I sent Draca, yours would be shattered into a million pieces. Apparently you win! Well, assuming you wanted vaguely-Duran-ish-looking pieces of clay...
And just for the record, eyeliner is NOT fun. It takes an enormous amount of patience to get the clay to stick, and then it is almost impossible to draw lashes without scraping it back off again.

Well I was _kidding_ about the question-marked jumper...
And yeah, they made it here okay! Oddly enough. They're on the shelf that--appropriately--I now keep my collections of tapes and CD's on. Standing in front of the "A-Z Dance Trax" collection that I made for the heck of it a long time ago. Heh.
And I _figured_ that the eyeliner had been hard to do...oy...

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
