Spike, the aloe vera I inherited about ten years ago from my mum's stepmother's aunt, had once again grown too big for his pot, so I split him to give as Christmas gifts. This is the pot I painted for one of my Trekkie buddies. Obviously.
(The plant itself looks a bit sad because I had just drug the whole plant nearly 300 miles, then repotted bits of it. It seemed to have perked up nicely by the time I gave it to my friend...of course, he then threw it in the back of a truck and drove it nearly 900 miles, so maybe it's dead, now. Poor thing...) |
